Tong-Mong La-Kyaing Tong-Tachileik
Day 1
Enter into Myanmar via Good Will Bridge. Your will be welcomed by our tour guide and start the trip to Kyaing Tong. Kyaing Tong is 160 km North of the border town Tachileik and it is the capital of Golden Triangle Region well known for its colorful tribes and scenic beauties. Travel by air
con coach and lunch at
Mong-Phayak. Arrive Kyaing Tong after 3 hours drive. Check-in at
the Hotel. Visit highlights of Kyaing Tong Standing Budda, Som Kham Pagoda and One tree hill (Dipterocarpus) are the famous landmark of Kyaing Tong and all are located on the top of
the hill. Dinner at Chinese restaurant. Stay overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2: Kyaing Tong - Mong La
After Breakfast, travel by private car along the newly built road to
Mong-La (the small Las Vegas of South East Asia) which is near China border through breathtaking mountain
sceneries. On the way,
observe the country side of Shan and other tribal villages with beautiful hill top monasteries. Sightseeing around Mong-La and
Antinarcotics Drug Museum. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3: Mong La - Kyaing Tong
Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Kyaing Tong and lunch at local restaurant. Sightseeing around Kyaing Tong and
visit to Ka-Ba-Aye Pagoda about 10 km from Kyaing Tong with beautiful view at sunset. Overnight at
the Hotel.
Day 4: Kyaing Tong - Tachileik
Kyaing Tong morning market is held on every morning, which is busy with colorful
hill tribes. Breakfast in the market or at hotel and
drive back to
Tachileik. Visit Tar-Lot market. It is the famous market place for shopping souvenir
from China and Myanmar. Transfer to Maesai before 18:00 hr.
